Photography as Science
I am a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps who worked to become a professional photographer after serving our great nation. I developed a keen talent for my craft, beginning as a professional photo lab technician and later earning the distinction of Master Black and White Technician.
After my first publication in Rolling Stone Magazine.. I was hooked on entertainment photography. This exposure eventually landed me to gigs covering actors, musicians and red carpet events, as well as presser assignments for WireImage/Getty Images for media placement.
Soon after, I shifted gears to a passion very dear to me, volunteering for an assignment supporting a charity organization that funds my wounded brother and sister veterans, which allowed me the opportunity to produce an awe-inspiring photographic compilation of those who have paid the ultimate price.
I went on to become Director of Photography Services for the Coalition to Salute Americas Heroes that provides financial and emotional support for wounded troops returning home from injuries they received during combat in the middle east.
Based in New York City, my current focus is creative portraitures as well as actor headshots. I remain a contributor and stringer photographer for WireImage/Getty and Shutterstock Images.
